Friends of Dolores Park Playground is now in our final planning stage! We are on track to provide a world-class playground at Dolores Park!

Although our small group has raised $3.25 million, we still need over $200,000 to install a number of objects that will bring joy and inspiration to the children and families who will soon be playing in our new playground.

We are asking all of you to consider donating or to help us in our community-wide fundraising drive. Your donation of any size will help us make these dreams come true.

About our fundraising efforts to date

Our current $3.25 in funds came from City funds, 2008 Park Bond money, donations from individuals, private foundations, grants, and support from local businesses. Because Dolores Park and playground are so heavily used, the demolition and repair of the drainage issues, the desire to use sustainable materials, and the need for the play structures to withstand upwards of 40 years of heavy use make it an extremely expensive renovation.
